'Grotesque': While 41 Million People Lost Jobs Due to Covid-19, US Billionaires Grew Nearly $500 Billion Richer.  "Billionaire wealth is surging at the same time that millions face suffering, hardship, and loss of life. This is a grotesque indicator of the deep inequalities in U.S. society."

The coronavirus is crushing working people. It’s time for Congress to act.  In the coming weeks and months, Congress must work not only to get vulnerable workers through the pandemic, but also to put them on more solid footing in the long term.

Research universities can help solve the coronavirus crisis: With our world redefined by the coronavirus, the nation must renew its commitment to exploration and discovery and to the partnership that truly made America great.

Trump Administration Distributed Remdesivir To Wrong Hospitals, Facilities Without ICU Beds
Gilead donated doses of remdesivir to the government to distribute, but an analysis of where that first batch went shows missteps that left critical patients without the potentially life-saving drug. Meanwhile, a study finds that a five-day course of remdesivir might be enough, which would help conserve supplies. And the VA says it has all but dropped its use of the controversial anti-malarial drug that has potentially fatal side effects.
