Interconnectedness and Democracy links 081915

By now, most of the readers of this blog should notice the interconnections between the various subject categorizations.  There appears to be interdependency between racism and economics, for example.  There also appears to be interdependency between criminal justice and economics, between ecology and economics, between politics and economics, between the military and economics, between the military and criminal justice, between racism and criminal justice, etc.  I wonder if there is interdependency between all these things and terrorism, education, health care, employment, homelessness, PTSD, etc.  Therefore, some of the quotes found at the following links appear appropriate:

What role should journalism play in this interconnectedness?

What is the role of education in all this interconnectedness?

What is the role of psychology in all this interconnectedness?
