Reverend Dwight Edwards, Harrisburg, served with Recon
Platoon/D Company/1/12th Regiment. He
was medevaced in the summer of 1966 to Valley Forge Hospital. Following his service to our Country,
Reverend Edwards became a teacher, probation officer and talk show host, all in
the Philadelphia area, before going to seminary/divinity school and being
called to congregations in Parkesburg, Marietta, Carlisle, Mercersburg and
Harrisburg.
Jay Snyder served as a platoon leader with C
Company/1/12th Regiment in the An Khe area until he was medevaced to Valley
Forge Hospital in August, 1966.
Following his service to our Country, he held management positions with
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His
love of tennis led him to become the Director of the US Open Tennis Tournament
in New York.
